How we made our Print Stand!

How we made our Print Stand!

For the past couple of weeks, my boyfriend and I have been pouring our hearts and souls into planning for our upcoming booth at the Beverly Hills Art Show. This is my very first art fair, and needless to say, I've been feeling incredibly giddy and excited. I knew that I had a massive print order coming in and I needed a stand to display them on. However, after browsing the internet for what felt like hours, I found that the standard Flourish Panel print stand or plain black flip stand just didn't speak to me or my boyfriend's creative vision. We wanted something with soul, something unique.

Thankfully, my boyfriend is a gifted builder. He's a true craftsman, and I feel incredibly lucky to have him on my team.

After probably over five trips to Home Depot and Loews, we finally have the first part of our setup! It's been a ton of work, but we're both incredibly proud of what we've accomplished so far. With the Beverly Hills Art Show just around the corner, we're excited to see how our booth will come together and share our vision with the world.

We used wooden dowels and parts by steel tek to assemble the base. The plan was to buy some waxed canvas and sew in the panels, but first we experimented with plastic wrap as a mock up, but found we actually kind of loved the clear look! It's so minimal, and you can see all the pieces because they aren't hidden by opaque fabric. So, I purchased clear vinyl and will be sewing the sleeves from that! I'll keep you all posted, but here is the progress! Oh and the best bonus part is the little table up top!
